OCEAN TO OUTBACK. A fully supported road cycling sojourn, taking in WA’s pristine wheat belt and eastern desert wilderness whilst fundraising youth mentoring programs for the Laverton community, September 10th-20th 2019

This event showcases what is best about supported road cycling (being able to ride long in a fully supported environment, not having to worry about any form of preparation on the day) and the WA outback (taking in the stark beauty of the WA outback by literally living and breathing the ‘bush’)

September 2020 Perth – Norseman – Laverton

7 Days riding, averaging 180km’s day

10 riders only

5 support staff

Accommodation, food and hospitality provided for each rider, Sept. 10-20th

3 month training option is provided and tailored to your fitness level


The accommodation blends a mixture of outback hospitality at local sites and real bush camping

All camping sites are erected and provided, with comfortable bedding and amenities included

You will not be roughing it

All breakfast, lunch and evening meals are provided, along with food consumable for cycling along the way



Day One: 188km’s Perth-Wongan Hills (overnight caravan park)

Day Two: 171km’s Wongan Hills – Jibberding (overnight bush camp)

Day Three: 188kms Jibberding- Daggar Hills (overnight bush camp)

Day Four: 184kms Daggar Hills- Before Sandstone (overnight bush camp)

Day Five: 192kms Before Sandstone- Leinster (overnight bush camp)

Day Six: 136kms Leinster-Leonora (overnight caravan park)

Day Seven: 125kms Leonora- Laverton (overnight caravan park)

Day Eight and Nine are spent with children completing the mentoring program and excursions with local elders



$1990 includes ride entry, accommodation, food, and training

Fundraising- through a series of collective event sharing we hope to raise a combined total of $25,000 toward the Laverton mentoring program and Laverton cycling program.

Each rider will assist in raising this total.
